The third and final season of the globally broadcasted transnational, multi-perspective documentary drama series on the transformation of the world between 1914 and 1960. Creator and head writer Jan Peter and creative producer Sandra Naumann narrate the stories of real people, depicting the transformation of Europe, China, and North Africa from the outbreak of World War II on September 1, 1939, to the launch of the first Soviet spacecraft, Sputnik, in October 1957. Produced by LOOKSFILM Leipzig in collaboration with various international partners, including Fortis Imaginatio.
