Co-creator and head writer Jan Peter at the Berlin premiere of “Division of the World 1939-1962.”

This docudrama series marks the third season of the epic saga, developed by Jan Peter and LOOKS director Gunnar Dedio, which spans the period from 1914 to the height of the Cold War (following “14 Diaries of the First World War”and “Clash of Futures 1918-1939”). This international co-production will debut on October 31, 2024, on the ARD and ARTE media libraries. With a budget of €10 million, the six-part series will air on linear TV on November 5 and 6, 2024, starting at 8:15 p.m. on ARTE, and from November 11, 2024, at 10:50 p.m. on ARD. Sandra Naumann and lido agency writer Jasmin Wind also contributed as co-writers.
